JAPAN STYLES (tree & flower study) No comments yet

Recently i had the opportunity to sit down with a long time friend and share with him a little recap of my little tour in Asia. As that came to a close he said to me “Wow, that was cool, thank you for sharing” and i really didn’t think about it at the time but i really appreciated that, because he was so hyped with what i had shared with him. I’m not gonna get all deep but in a nut shell that’s what i feel like I’m doing. Sharing. Putting a lot of my self out there for people to see and judge. This is just a glimpse into my life, the awesome people i know and meet, and the things i do. I hope you or people in general, enjoy and take something away from it all or at least be entertained with stupid picture of my face! If not, well, there are like 10,000,000,000 other sites to look at. like porno! hahahhah. This is just one afternoon with Amanda Toby and Apache totally nerding out and taking pictures of everything and with my jedi knowledge i will study them (japanese/nature/plant/tree/flower/koi study) tattoo folks day off -Enjoy, lucky!

“BINTURONG FROM THAILAND!” No comments yet

“Binturong on my shoulder” by Sashamon,  This is Binturong, he might as well smoke dubes and be from hawaii. It’s natural skill or defense mechanism is chillaxing. Who would have thought

The Binturong (Arctictis binturong), also known as the Asian Bearcat, the Palawan Bearcat, or simply the Bearcat, is a species of the familyViverridae, which includes the civets and genets. It is neither a bear nor a cat, and the real meaning of the original name has been lost, as the local language that gave it that name is now extinct[3]. Its natural habitat is in trees of forest canopy in rainforest of BangladeshBhutanBurma,ChinaIndiaIndonesiaLaosMalaysiaNepal, the PhilippinesThailand, and Vietnam.[1]

It is nocturnal and sleeps on branches. It eats primarily fruit, but also has been known to eat two eggs, hamburger patties, rice, shoots, leaves, gravy and small animals, such as rodents or birds. Deforestation has greatly reduced its numbers. When cornered, the Binturong can be vicious. The Binturong can make chuckling sounds when it seems to be happy and utter a high-pitched wail if annoyed. The Binturong can live over 20 years in captivity; one has been recorded to have lived almost 26 years, and is one mean hawaiian

Skunk VS Snake! but not in a battle for life but a battle for who can fall asleep on each other the fastest.

Binturong’s other skillful wild instinct is to sit on your purse and not want to move. A skill most needed in the jungles of Asia. How clever…..

TO THE NORTH No comments yet

So after a long week and a very eventful weekend on Sunday the Woman and I took a little trip to the north shore for the day. We got a late start on the day but with no traffic, it was smooth sailing out there. First stop, Cholos to feed da face! Once all that was done we hit the beach. Stopping and checking out the big but not soooo big waves at a few beaches, and even if it sounds gay i am always amazed by Hawaii’s beauty. Nature is just rad, period. After nerding out for a minute wishing i was not a kook and dreaming i was in the Pipemasters, we decided to walk off some of that food and head to waimea. If you are not familiar with “digging the trench” this is whats up. a few guys bring a few shovels and dig a connection from the end of the river to the ocean. The funny part is that there were some pretty decent waves in the ocean yet these guys rather play fake wave pool in the doo doo water. Naaaah, I m just hating cos i didnt go in…but pretty self explanatory and cool to see… anyways A great day, out of the city, my woman, relax, food, beach, sun set. nuf said

SHANGRI LA No comments yet

Today we had the privilege to visit “Shangri La” Doris Duke’s secret hide away home. This woman is so much more of a mystery to me now after visiting her home. The start of the build i should say started in 1937. Its hidden behind a long lush forest like driveway and its simple yet elegant entrance disguse it even more. Heavily decorated in Islamic patterns, tile work and paintings along with artifacts dating from the 1200s and earlier, “The place is beautiful”. (dream homes dream about being this cool) To be visualized then built and in the time that is was….. I could go on and on about how cool this place is and how new houses now don’t and will not come close to this place. And not to mention the this place and everything in it is worth more than all of our lives put together.  All i can say is if you get a chance its a $25 guided tour and its through the Academy of Arts. Go check it out. Its a museum so you can take photos =( Sorry pictures  don’t do it justice.

this is not even half of the estate. and our wonderful guide had on a see through skirt! i was totally looking

if i could give it all to her i would. one day

so baller you don’t even know. i won’t ruin it for you…

JETSKI MANIA No comments yet

This is PAKA, the crazy fireman, a customer and friend of the shop and today he and his friend Even offered to take us jetsking at sand islang. Ive been jetsking before but this was the best experience by far. Lets just say it was awesome. These things go so fricken fast and there are pretty much no rules over there. We must have gone like 4 or 5 miles out into the ocean. Wish i could have brought my camera. And now im burnt to a crisp. Im so sunburnt i fear for the pain tomorrow brings. but it was worth it.

good day

BEACH DAYS No comments yet

Off but not off. There is always something to do, draw, get, plan for, ect… Today was like 10000000 degrees outside and i was running around town sweating like crazy. Very attractive.  I stopped in to see my sister for some of my printing need at PROFESSIONAL IMAGE  then stopped in to see how things were going at the MANIFEST.

For those of you that dont know ive been there like everyday painting and helping brandon and justin get this shit going. And i gotta say the place is off the hook. So like a good friend i go to say hello and these 2 monkeys are out to lunch. Screw um. I peaced out to Shar the Barista and hit the road to FISHER HAWAII. i gotta say hands down you cant front on fisher. I mean there product might be a little older and a little dusty when you pull it from the shelf but you cant beat the prices. Unlike the over priced HAWAIIAN GRAFFICS, the do have some things that fisher doesn’t though i’ll give them that.

I managed to get all that out of the way and made to the beach with wifey. Other than the jackass weird old white guy wearing boxers and a unbuttoned shirt with no fucken manners what so ever, who was gonna get a knuckle sandwich !!!!!!! i had a good time chilling. I always need that.

and i followed this up with a boneless chicken plate from RAINBOW’s

ALOHA FRIDAY No comments yet

Its weird to think that people travel thousands of miles here for this and i get to look at it when ever i feel like it. People are dying to come here and most of us are trying to get out. Ya hawaii has in downs and gets boring at times but if you stop and think about its pretty fuckin sweet to be living in hawaii.

just picked up a zebra, or a bike, whatever you wanna call it from Lyan Rau (aloha fixed) road that around ala moana and man is it awkward. I feel you on that whole free wheel thing Jason. ill give it some time though. Hopefully i get use to it before anyone sees me eat it.

Then i came across this….. sail boat bumper derby!!! its the shit. these poor bastards. Its a 2 man boat i don’t think they give you great instructions on what to do and much sailing room for that matter. I stopped to watch these guys for like 10 minutes. It was great, people were screaming and crashing into each other and tipping over left and right and im sure the instructor just laughs. looks like stupid fun.

worked on Jays arm for a little bit. 1st color session on the skull, prolly one more to go.

a healed flick of Robins tattoo.

Lots of projects this month and lots of stuff happening. i hope i can keep it together and not loose my mind.
