This is the kind of stuff I’m talking about! Quality work, taking the time, the time to learn and the skills you earn, respecting a craft and the effort put in to it, a master and apprentice. Learning and teaching, handing it down passing on the knowledge to those that earn the right to know. Paying your dues and respecting the game. I am all for forward movement and thinking, technology and advancements but always respecting tradition. These are qualities and morals that i have learned and come to live by and respect. (big ups to all involved in this video, i dig it)
Just finished this one up. Haley “3.14″ Pi’s arm. One of the more crazy tattoos that i’ve done for sure. Lots of cool imagery and lots of randomness but some how it all worked i guess. Girl, skulls, heart, mandala, jesus, roses, eyeballs ect… check it out. LAAAAAAWWWRD DA MEEERCY im tired…. 4 am I just got home from finishing a commission painting i’ve been cramming for the past 2 nights and im so glad its finished. ”only god judge me!” time to sleep

Today was by far better than yesterday. Lets just hope it keeps on getting better from here on out. One of my appointments didn’t show today. So instead of tattooing i drew this picture. Its not done yet but far enough along to show i guess. Does any want to make a permanent life decision and put this on there body for ever and ever? Let me know. Also Shawna brought me this cool little skull guy & its purple so i like even more! if each one of my customers brought me a skull every day at the end of the year i would have enough of them to have a skull art show. (hhmmmmmm…)

I often get side track by a lot of things. Just wanting to take a brake from it all, like daydreaming of thailand with tigers and snakes on my face or vietnam chilling in a hammock drinking coffee with construction right by my side, aaaaaaaaahhhhhhh….. but lately i feel like me/us at the shop have been pretty on it with getting sh*t done. I’ve been pretty busy and doing lots of tattoos, which i am most thankful for! But i keep reminding myself to stay focused, eyes of the tiger and that practice practice practice practice practice practice, is the only way to get better. Every second you/i waste doing something other that what you strive to be the best at, someone else is getting the jump on you! Like while i’m doing this stupid blog someone out there already did another super sick drawing. DAAAMNIT! but Believe that. Thank you to Chris, Justin, Leah, Pi and Gwen!!! Stay focused stay humble -respect
